Valentines Day Cards

This year Kaleb picked Transformers Valentine day cards to give to his class mates. We also let Drayden get some to give to his daycare buddies. He got Shamu Valentine day cards. Then I was at the store and found TMNT cards (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), which is a major deal at our house. So Drayden ended up giving everyone 2 cards.

I pulled out the play-doh caddy and the kids had so much fun. This was only Draydens second time with play-doh and he loves it! 2-10-08

Lunar Eclipse

Whenever there is an eclipse or meteor shower Kaleb and I make it a point to try and see it. Tonight there was supposed to be a lunar eclipse but because of the rain it didn't look like we were going to be able to see anything. Somehow though the rain stopped and the clouds parted long enough for us to catch the last half of it. What a sight it was. Kaleb especially loved how the moon turned a dark shade of red. We also got a good view of Saturn which was pretty cool.

Work of Art

The other day Drayden came out of his room just as happy as can be because he had colored a picture for me using his brother’s markers. The only bad thing was the canvas he used to draw his masterpiece on was his self. Luckily the markers are washable and nontoxic so no permanent damage was done.
